Post Covid 19 Pandemic Economic Empowerment to Registered Groups in Migori County

In a remarkable collaboration aimed at uplifting lives of marginalized communities, Mama Agnes Ochilo Foundation, together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the County Government of Migori through the Department of Special Programs and External Partnerships, extended a helping hand to registered groups within Migori County. The initiative brought newfound hope and empowerment to the region through a diverse range of support.

Twenty-two registered groups, encompassing youths, women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) were beneficiaries of this noble effort. The comprehensive support included the provision of essential commodities that were poised to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the community members.

Catering tents and equipment, dairy cows, plastic chairs, chicks and water tanks were donated to the groups to cushion them from the effects of Covid 19 Pandemic.
