The Power of Options.

Access to affordable and effective contraception is essential for promoting women’s health, reducing maternal mortality, and improving the overall quality of life for families. We must continue to advocate for policies and programs that ensure access to contraception for all.

Together with former Bungoma first lady H.E Caroline Wangamati, Mama Agnes Ochilo joined the people of Migori County at Kababu Grounds in Suna West to mark the World Contraception Day, 2023.

Mama Agnes ochilo urged women and men of reproductive age to take control of their reproductive health and make informed decisions about contraception. Every person, regardless of gender, deserves the right to choose if and when they want to have children. “Healthy families are created by choice, not by chance.”

Mama Agnes Ochilo through her foundation is committed to achieving universal access to contraception and reproductive health care through creation of awareness of all contraceptive methods available and enable young people to make informed choices on their sexual and reproductive health. Mama Agnes Ochilo believes that, together we can empower people to make the best decisions for themselves and their families to create a brighter and healthier future for all.
